Can I scan or photograph my own artwork?
Yes we do accept files you have created. We always suggest you order a small print first as a proof to be sure you are happy with the image quality and color. Quite often you will see a difference between the colors on your monitor vs what is printed. When preparing files the image size needs to be between 150dpi - 300dpi at 100%, and can be saved as Adobe 98 color settings.
Can Signature Image color correct my supplied files?
We suggest ordering a small 8x10 or 11x14 proof first. We can make adjustments per your notes or you can bring in the original for us to compare against. We charged $75 per hr billed in 15 min increments for color proofing and image manipulation, print proofs are billed separate. In most cases it makes more sense to bring in the originals and have us to handle scanning and proofing.
Can Signature Image add signatures to my digital images?
Yes, you can provide us with a copy of your signature to scan and add to your digital painting, and or photographs. Signatures can be made any color and any size desired on the digital file. We charge $75 per hour billed in 15min increments for image manipulation.
Can Signature Image scan my image through a glass frame?
We can shoot thorugh glass if original is framed, but we do prefer unframed work.
We can scan glossy or matte finishes.
Can you use transparencies?
4x5 Film Drum Scans - Our Howtek 4500 Drum Scanner has a max resolution of 4000 dpi making it the perfect tool for scanning your film transparencies for high resolution print work. The price includes minor cleanup of any dust or scratches that show up in the scan process. Extreme dust, glare or scratch removal may incur additional charges.
What is Proofing
Proofing includes color correction, proofs, initial client consult/review of color proofs, and archive of both digital and printed proof.
We will provide you with a cd/dvd of your Art Scan that will include file sizes suitable for printing, advertising, and web/email usage.
Proofs are printed on Matte Paper. If you would like proofs on your prefered paper or canvas add $25.
We print on Epson 9900 & 11880 printers, using OEM pigment ink.
What is the largest print size?
For canvas is 58 x any length. Our largest so far is 4.5 x 11.5 feet! Most papers max out at 44" rolls, but Epson and Innova products offer 60" rolls. We do not stock 60" rolls of paper, but they are readily available.
We carefully inspect each print and reject any prints that are not up to our high standards.

Our preferred shippers are USPS & FedEx Ground/FedEx Overnight.
We do ship via UPS by request, note UPS in your order notes.
All prints are packed and sealed in an archival clear bag before shipping. We pack your order very well to ensure everything arrives perfectly. We prefer to ship paper prints flat whenever possible, loose canvas ships rolled in a tube, stretched canvas and metal prints ship in large boxes with packing material around the prints.

What about originals too big for USPS or FedEx? Do you offer local pickup of oversized originals?
Yes, we do offer oversized pickup and delivery of originals and prints in the DFW area. This service must be scheduled in advanced. $150 delivery fee for printed work within DFW. $200 pickup & delivery for same day Oversized Art Scan service. Oversized Pickip/Delivery Fees are in addition to any work being performed. These prices are only good for the immediate DFW area, please call for prices on pickup/deliveries outside DFW.
